We are looking for a motivating, inspiring and inclusive leader for our North Region team to help shape the future of Scotland’s forests and land in the Highlands.
The role provides the opportunity to make a real difference in delivering Scottish Government priorities including tackling the climate and nature crises, through for example peatland and Caledonian pinewood restoration on a huge scale. The postholder will be the Foresty and Land Scotland representative on the Cairngorms Connect board – the biggest landscape scale habitat restoration project in Britain.
We are looking for a Regional Manager who is innovative, creative, and adaptable to change and who is sensitive to the needs of the diverse communities that we serve. We are an organisation that delivers on the ground, and we want to maintain a close connection between local teams, local forests and local stakeholders.
Therefore, we want to hear from aspiring leaders who are up to the challenge of shaping the future of forests and land in Scotland. We strongly believe in an inclusive and supportive work culture and welcome applications from everyone regardless of background. We are looking to increase the diversity of our workforce and are particularly interested to hear from women and other underrepresented groups.
